Father’s Day In Heaven I love you and I miss you, Dad, and though you’ve passed away, you’ll never be forgotten, for I think of you each day. If heaven celebrates this day how special it will be. A gathering of the many dads upon our family tree. Your father and grandfather and great grandfather too. How wonderful it is, if they can spend this day with you. We do not need a special day to bring you to our minds. The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. Each morning when we awake we know that you are gone. And no one knows the heartache as we try to carry on. Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill. In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still. There will always to be a heartache, and often a silent tear. But always a precious memory of the days when you were here. If tears would make a staircase, and heartaches make a lane, We’d walk the path to heaven and bring you home again. We hold you close within our hearts; and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Our family chain is broken now, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Losing a loved one is the hardest thing you can do. We all must travel down this road of life. At the end we wonder how we will make it through. Grieving with the pain, crying all through the night. We all enjoyed our time together. You taught us most everything we know. Now you have moved on to somewhere better. We will miss you more than you'll ever know. No more confusion, pain, or anything. You are walking the streets of gold. Our savior has given you your wings. You will no longer grow old. So fly and be free although you will be missed. Your family is waiting for you. Go and greet them with a kiss. Don't worry about us, we will make it through. We will meet again one day soon. We will greet you with open arms. Until then we will be thinking of you. And you will remain forever in our hearts
